The Wandel & Goltermann OLP-5 and OLS-5 are a complementary pair of portable multimode fibre optic test instruments designed for accurate insertion loss and optical power measurements in telecommunications and data networks.

The OLS-5 Optical Laser Source provides stable, calibrated output at both 850 nm and 1300 nm wavelengths, making it suitable for testing 62.5/125 µm and 50/125 µm multimode optical fibre links. The stabilised laser output ensures consistent and repeatable measurements across a range of test environments.

The OLP-5 Optical Power Meter is designed to work in conjunction with the OLS-5, providing accurate received power readings and loss measurements across the same dual wavelength range. Together, they form a practical optical loss test set (OLTS) suitable for both field installation verification and laboratory characterisation.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
