This VIAVI T-BERD 2000 mainframe with 4126 MA2 singlemode OTDR module is in used condition and in good cosmetic condition overall. The unit has been fully tested and confirmed working. The OTDR passed specification at both 1310 nm and 1550 nm, and the FibreCheck connector inspection function also passed.

The VIAVI T-BERD/MTS-2000 is a handheld modular test set designed for the installation, turn-up, and maintenance of optical fibre networks across enterprise, metro, FTTx/access, and passive optical network (PON) environments. The platform accepts the full range of 4100-Series OTDR modules, enabling technicians to carry a single, compact field instrument capable of handling a wide variety of fibre test applications.

The 4126 MA2 module is a Metro-Access singlemode OTDR designed for dual-wavelength testing at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. It provides up to 40 dB dynamic range at 1310 nm and 38 dB at 1550 nm, with an industry-leading event dead zone of 0.7 m and attenuation dead zone of 2 m. The module supports distance ranges from 100 m up to 260 km and offers multiple pulse widths for flexible acquisition. An integrated CW light source is included. The module is cross-compatible with T-BERD/MTS-4000 V2 and MTS-5800 platforms.

The T-BERD 2000 mainframe features a high-visibility colour capacitive touchscreen, 1G Ethernet and USB connectivity, and supports StrataSync cloud-based asset, configuration, and test data management. The 20PMVFL option adds a built-in broadband optical power meter and visual fault locator to the mainframe base unit.
