The VIAVI Solutions (formerly JDSU) T-BERD/MTS-5800 is a compact, modular, multi-application network test platform designed for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Ethernet, SONET/SDH, and PDH/DSn transport networks. Its lightweight, field-portable design and hot-swappable module architecture allow technicians to configure the instrument for a wide variety of testing scenarios in a single unit.

The 5801 module provides comprehensive copper and optical Ethernet testing at 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and Gigabit speeds, supporting RFC 2544 benchmarking, Y.1564 service activation testing, BER testing, and MPLS/VLAN traffic analysis. The Wi-Fi option enables wireless network access directly from the instrument, while the Multiple Streams/COS licence allows simultaneous multi-stream traffic generation for quality-of-service validation.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
