The Viavi (formerly JDSU) SCU-1800 Sweep Control Unit is an advanced sweep transceiver offering updated, space-saving hardware and simple browser-based configurability. The headend/hub rack-mounted SCU-1800 provides non-interfering downstream sweep to 1,218 MHz and upstream sweep to 204 MHz on up to 16 switchable return sweep ports.

The ONX/SCU system meets the needs of current and evolving cable networks, with the sweep frequency range extended to 1,218 MHz forward and 204 MHz reverse. The platform is compatible with existing VIAVI sweep equipment (SDA-55xx, DSAM), offering smooth, seamless integration and a clear transition path to the next generation of network technology.

A space-conserving 1RU form factor with 16 switchable return sweep ports means less combining is required, leading to improved noise performance. Sweep receivers can be consolidated to conserve cost. Improved pulse generation performance provides a pure, clean RF sweep signal with narrower pulses, enabling insertion between active carriers without interference.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
