The platform combines optical time-domain reflectometry (OTDR) with integrated optical switch technology to enable continuous, automated OTDR monitoring of multiple fibres across a network from a single chassis.

The OTU-8000 is fully modular, supporting a wide range of OTDR modules covering different wavelengths and dynamic ranges, allowing operators to optimise fibre monitoring as networks evolve.
