The Viavi JDSU OLP-87P is a wavelength-selective XG-PON optical power meter with through-mode capability, supporting service activation and troubleshooting across B-PON, E-PON, G-PON and XG-PON/10G-EPON networks. It covers 1490/1550/1578 nm downstream and 1270/1310 nm burst mode upstream wavelengths. The unit features an onboard patch-cord microscope (PCM) for fibre end-face inspection and is compatible with the Viavi P5000i microscope for automated pass/fail analysis. It is supplied with the MS 2306/66 module.
