The Viavi (formerly JDSU) OLA-55 is a high-performance singlemode fibre optical attenuator designed for field and laboratory use in the installation, maintenance, and testing of singlemode optical networks, including systems operating up to 40 Gbps. It supports bit error rate testing (BERT) applications and is used to emulate fibre loss for system dynamics testing.

The OLA-55 features the SMARTWheel for precise manual attenuation adjustment, the SMARTStar graphical user interface for intuitive operation, and the SMARTEnergy power management system delivering over 1000 hours of battery life. Measurements are traceable to NIST/PTB standards, and the instrument is built to withstand demanding field environments with a shock-proof, splash-proof enclosure. A USB port enables remote operation.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
