The Viavi (formerly JDSU) MTS-T-BERD 2000 is a compact, modular, field-portable OTDR mainframe designed for singlemode and multimode optical fibre testing. Its rugged, touchscreen-equipped platform accepts a range of plug-in OTDR and measurement modules, making it highly flexible for installation and maintenance teams working across a variety of fibre networks.

The integrated power meter allows direct optical loss measurements without additional equipment, while the built-in visual fault locator (VFL) enables rapid identification of fibre breaks, bends, and connector faults in the near field. Together these built-in tools reduce the amount of ancillary equipment needed in the field.

The JDSU 4126 MA2 singlemode OTDR module provides dual-wavelength testing at the industry-standard 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths, enabling full characterisation of singlemode fibre links including splice loss, connector loss, reflectance, and fibre length.

• CUSTOMS AND TAXES: It is YOUR responsibility to liaise with customs in your country and ensure your package is cleared and any taxes are paid.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
