The Viavi (formerly JDSU) MTS 6000A V2 is a compact, ruggedised modular mainframe platform designed for field optical and transport network testing. It forms the core of the MTS 6000 test system, accepting a wide range of plug-in modules to address OTDR, optical loss, dispersion, and transmission testing requirements in a single portable unit.

The MTS 6100 module carrier provides two module slots, enabling technicians to combine different test technologies — for example, OTDR and optical power measurement — within the same mainframe for efficient multi-service testing in the field.

The MTS 6000A V2 platform features a large colour touchscreen display, an intuitive graphical user interface, and a long-life rechargeable battery, making it well suited to demanding field environments. Its modular architecture allows the mainframe to be re-used across multiple projects and technologies simply by swapping modules, protecting capital investment over time.

Typical applications include fibre characterisation, installation and maintenance of single-mode and multimode optical networks, acceptance testing, and fault location on live or dark fibre infrastructure.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
