The Viavi MTS 6000A V2 is a modular, portable fibre optic test mainframe designed for field engineers working on outside plant, FTTx, and enterprise networks. The platform features a high-resolution touchscreen interface and accepts a range of plug-in test modules, enabling flexible configuration for a wide variety of optical testing applications.

The Viavi 8126B is a high-performance single-mode OTDR module designed for use with the MTS 6000A V2 mainframe. It provides comprehensive fibre characterisation over long distances and is optimised for use in outside plant environments. When combined with the FCOMP (Fiber Complete) software option, the system automates bidirectional OTDR measurements, insertion loss (IL), and optical return loss (ORL) testing — dramatically reducing test time and eliminating manual errors.
