The Viavi (formerly JDSU) MTS 6000A is a modular, portable test platform designed for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fibre optic and multi-service transport networks. The mainframe accommodates a range of plug-in modules — including the MSAM (Multi-Service Access Module) — enabling technicians to perform a wide variety of layer 1 and layer 2 tests from a single compact instrument.

The MTS 6000A mainframe features a built-in optical power meter and visual fault locator (VFL), making it a versatile all-in-one field solution. The BERT (Bit Error Rate Test) and MSAM modules extend functionality to cover Ethernet, SDH/SONET, and other transport protocols.

The MSAM V1 module with Option 10GigE LAN provides full 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN testing capability, supporting RFC 2544 benchmarking, throughput, latency, and frame loss measurements.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
