This Viavi JDSU MTS 4000 mainframe is in working condition and includes the Viavi 4138 MP49 singlemode OTDR module (E4138MP49). The module has had very little use. The MTS 4000 is equipped with Smartlink software, a touch screen interface, and an integrated power meter. The OTDR module operates at 1310/1490/1550 nm with dynamic ranges of 43/41/41 dB respectively, an event dead zone of 0.8 m, an attenuation dead zone of 4 m, APC connector, and a maximum range of 260 km.

The Viavi Solutions MTS 4000 is a compact, portable test mainframe from the T-BERD/MTS platform family, designed to support a wide range of optical fibre test modules for field technicians and service providers. When paired with the MP49 OTDR module, it delivers a comprehensive solution for testing metro, cable TV (CATV), FTTH, and PON networks with high-port-count splitters.

The MP OTDR module provides improved dynamic range, optimised resolution, and minimal dead zones at short pulses, making it ideal for testing PON systems with splitting ratios up to 1x128. Filtered wavelengths allow in-service testing without disrupting live traffic.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
