Manufactured in 2016 (MFD 2016), this unit is the higher-specification MP2 variant and is well suited to demanding metro, FTTH, and PON fibre testing applications. The SC-APC connector port supports singlemode testing across both wavelengths from a single port.

The Viavi Solutions MTS 2000 is a compact, touchscreen-based modular mainframe platform designed for field testing of fibre optic networks. Paired with the 4126 MP2 OTDR module, the system delivers optimised performance for metro, cable TV (CATV), and FTTH/PON network testing with high-port-count splitters.

The MP2 module features an improved dynamic range over the standard MP variant, making it ideal for testing PON architectures with splitting ratios of up to 1x128. Filtered wavelength options support in-service testing without disrupting live traffic, and the single-port design eliminates the need for connector changes between wavelengths.

The MTS 2000 mainframe includes a built-in optical power meter and visual fault locator (VFL), a colour touchscreen interface, and supports smart cable/link/access L2 software for automated pass/fail reporting and bidirectional OTDR analysis.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
