The Viavi (formerly JDSU) JD725C CellAdvisor is a portable, all-in-one base station analyzer designed for field engineers working on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of cellular and wireless base stations. Combining cable and antenna analysis with spectrum analysis and transmission measurements, the JD725C simplifies the testing workflow for 2G, 3G, and 4G network infrastructure up to 4 GHz.
The instrument features a high-resolution colour touchscreen and an intuitive user interface, allowing rapid configuration and measurement in demanding field environments. Its rugged, ergonomic design is purpose-built for outdoor use, with a built-in handle and battery operation for maximum portability.
Option 001 adds a Bias Tee function, allowing the analyzer to supply DC power through the RF port to remote devices such as tower-mounted amplifiers. Option 3 enables Bluetooth connectivity for wireless data transfer. Option 4 provides USB GPS for location tagging of measurements. Option 5 adds a High Power CW Signal Generator for insertion loss and antenna testing. Option 6 adds Wi-Fi connectivity for remote access and data management.
