The Viavi (formerly JDSU) FBPT-LC is a fibre scope tip designed for use with the Viavi P5000i Digital Fibre Inspection Probe. Combined with the FiberChek FBP LC Bulkhead adapter, it enables rapid, repeatable end-face inspection of LC bulkhead connectors in the field or in the lab.

The P5000i platform delivers automatic pass/fail grading in accordance with IEC 61300-3-35 and Telcordia GR-326 standards, eliminating the need for manual interpretation of inspection results. The system captures high-resolution images of fibre end-faces and analyses contamination, scratches, and defects across the core, cladding, adhesive, and contact zones.
