This is the CWDM10L variant of the Viavi 4100 Series OTDR module, covering the lower CWDM band with 10 wavelengths across the 1271 nm to 1451 nm range via SC-APC connector. It is designed to test through MUX/DEMUX equipment and perform complete end-to-end link characterisation or fault location on active CWDM networks without disrupting traffic on in-service channels.

The Viavi 4100 Series CWDM OTDR modules are designed for the T-BERD/MTS-2000, MTS-4000 V2, MTS-5800, OneAdvisor 800, and FTH-9000 platforms. They provide a compact, field-ready solution for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting in-service CWDM fibre networks. The solution enables cable operators, dark fibre providers, and telecommunications service providers to test through MUX/DEMUX equipment and perform complete end-to-end link characterisation or fault location on active C-RAN, DAS, and mobile fronthaul CWDM networks.

The full 4100 Series covers 18 CWDM wavelengths across just two OTDR modules, making it the most compact CWDM OTDR solution available. The CWDM10L variant (this module) covers the lower CWDM band.
