Please note that only the module is supplied — a compatible mainframe is required for operation and is not included.

The Viavi C5TEM-R Timing Expansion Module (TEM) is a field-optimised accessory designed for use with the T-BERD/MTS-5800 platform. It incorporates a GNSS antenna and a miniature atomic clock (MAC) based on a Rubidium oscillator, providing nanosecond-accurate timing and synchronisation measurements even when operating in holdover mode without a satellite signal.

With a T-BERD/MTS-5800 and the C5TEM-R, engineers can:
• Perform one-way delay measurements to identify asymmetric network delays
• Precisely measure PTP one-way delay, constant time error (cTE), dynamic time error (dTE) using wander analysis with ITU masks and maximum time error max |TE|
• Measure Floor Packet Percentile (FPP) of Sync PDV packets to ensure PTP PDV is within limits for frequency recovery
• Qualify GNSS antenna installations by evaluating satellite signal strength and viewing a 360° sky plot instantly or over a 24-hour period
• Troubleshoot the accuracy of equipment 1 PPS output signals with 1 PPS wander analysis
• Measure T1 and E1 jitter and wander
• Measure PTP frequency accuracy using Floor Packet Percentile (FPP) analysis

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
