The Xcelerate system was designed to provide a universal surgical technique for Scorpio surgeons, developed after reviewing established techniques to deliver user-friendly and accurate instruments for femoral bone preparation during total knee arthroplasty.

This tray is specifically configured for F3 Scorpio PS (Posterior-Stabilised) femoral recess and intercondylar notch preparation. It supports two notch preparation options: a punch technique (using PS Notch Preparation Punches guided through the Universal Notch Block) and a compacting/saw technique (using PS Notch Preparation Compactors impacted into the notch block tracks). The tray also provides instrumentation for patella recess preparation for both Scorpio PS and Scorpio CR knee procedures.
