The Stryker Spine MAC (Multi-Axial Connector) System, Tray Reference 4801-0000, is part of the Stryker Spine Xia family of spinal fixation instrumentation. The MAC system provides surgeons with a range of multi-axial cross-connectors designed to link parallel longitudinal spinal rods and enhance the rigidity and stability of a posterior spinal construct.

The multi-axial connector design allows the connecting body to rotate freely in multiple planes prior to final locking, enabling the surgeon to accommodate varying inter-rod distances and non-parallel rod orientations without requiring additional rod contouring. Connectors are available in both in-line (parallel) and offset configurations across a broad range of sizes to suit different anatomical requirements.

The tray includes the dedicated surgical instrument set required for implantation, including screwdrivers, calipers, and forceps. All instruments and the sterilisation case are designed for repeated autoclave sterilisation cycles in accordance with standard hospital sterile processing procedures.
