The Stryker / K2M Core Instruments Tray 1381 is a curated set of reusable surgical instruments developed by K2M (now part of Stryker following the 2018 acquisition) for use in open spinal fixation procedures. These instruments are designed to support the full intraoperative workflow of pedicle screw-based spinal fusion surgery, including screw site preparation, rod insertion, reduction, compression, distraction, and final torque-limited locking.

K2M was founded in 2004 and became a global leader in complex spine and minimally invasive solutions before being acquired by Stryker Corporation for approximately $1.4 billion in late 2018. The K2M product portfolio — now marketed under the Stryker brand — is focused on treating complex spinal pathologies including scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, and vertebral fractures.

These instruments are intended solely for use by qualified physicians fully familiar with the required surgical technique. They are designed for reuse following appropriate decontamination, cleaning, and sterilisation per the manufacturer's Instructions for Use.

Sterilisation: Instruments may be resterilised using validated steam (autoclave) sterilisation methods in accordance with AAMI TIR 12 and AAMI ST-79 standards. Tray configurations should be double wrapped or used with a compatible rigid sterilisation container system.
