The Stryker T2 Tibial Nailing System is an intramedullary nailing system intended to provide temporary stabilisation of various types of fractures, malunion, and nonunion of the tibia. The nails are inserted using an open or closed technique and can be statically, dynamically, and compression locked.

The T2 system represents Stryker's comprehensive development of original intramedullary principles, bringing together all the capabilities and benefits of separate nailing systems into a single, integrated surgical resource for fixation of long bone fractures. The system achieves superior biomechanical intramedullary stabilisation using small-calibre, strong cannulated implants for internal fixation of long bones.

Indications for Use:
- Open and closed tibial fractures
- Pseudarthrosis and correction osteotomy
- Pathologic fractures, impending pathologic fractures and tumour resections
- Nonunion and malunion

The instrument platform is designed for ergonomic use, with clearly labelled sterilisation trays divided into Basic Long, Optional, and Disposables categories. The 'Long' instrument designation refers to instruments sized for use with standard and long tibial nails.
