The Stryker Gamma3 Long Recon Nail system is a comprehensive intramedullary nailing solution designed for the fixation of peritrochanteric, subtrochanteric, and femoral shaft fractures, as well as reconstruction procedures. The distal targeting adjusting devices are dedicated surgical instruments that form part of the Gamma3 instrumentation set, enabling accurate placement of distal locking screws during nail insertion.

Accurate distal targeting is critical to achieving correct rotational stability and construct integrity. The static adjusting devices (left and right) and the dynamic adjusting device (left/right) allow the surgeon to select the appropriate targeting mode depending on the clinical requirement — static locking for maximum stability or dynamic locking to allow controlled fracture compression.
