The Stryker AxSOS Locking Plate System is designed for orthopaedic trauma surgery and is intended for long bone fracture fixation. The 5.0mm targeting instrument set provides all the necessary tools for both minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) and open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) surgical approaches using AxSOS 5.0mm anatomic locking plates.

The AxSOS system features a fixed-angle screw-to-plate interface providing angular stability, combined with anatomically shaped plates to accommodate the morphology of specific bone regions. The 5.0mm plate family is designed for use at diaphyseal and metaphyseal sites including the femur, tibia, and humerus, among others.
