The Stryker AxSOS Distal Lateral Femur Targeter is the dedicated targeting instrumentation set for use with the Stryker AxSOS Locking Plate System for the Distal Lateral Femur. The AxSOS Locking Plate System is designed to treat periarticular and intra-articular fractures of the distal femur, with system design based on clinical input from an international panel of experienced surgeons, literature data, and both practical and biomechanical testing.

The targeting instrumentation is designed to enable accurate, minimally invasive placement of locking screws into the distal femoral plate during submuscular plate application. The bilateral aiming blocks (Left and Right) attach directly to the plate via the plate adapters, and the curved targeting arms guide drilling through numbered hole positions corresponding to plate screw holes. Connecting pins, adapter nuts, and aiming block screws allow secure assembly of the targeting construct intraoperatively. Plate end markers assist in fluoroscopic identification of the plate tip during insertion.
