The Stryker XCELARATE Scorpio PR Femoral Preparation Instrument Set (Ref: 8000-2000) is part of the Scorpio NRG (New Rotational Geometry) Single Radius Primary Knee System instrument platform from Stryker Orthopaedics. The XCELARATE instrumentation system is designed to facilitate efficient and accurate femoral preparation during primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA), supporting both intramedullary (IM) and extramedullary alignment techniques.

The Scorpio NRG knee system upon which this instrument set is based features a single radius design — meaning the centre of rotation of the femoral component is fixed — which is intended to address mid-flexion instability and provide consistent ligament tension throughout the arc of motion. The NRG system incorporates spherical geometry in the coronal plane to improve rotation during flexion.

The F1 PR (Primary, Posterior Reference) Femoral Alignment set provides the instrumentation required for:
— Femoral intramedullary canal entry and alignment
— Distal femoral resection level selection (8 mm and 10 mm resection options)
— Rotational alignment and varus/valgus setting
— Distal femoral cutting block fixation
