The Stanmore Implants METS (Modular Endoprosthetic Tumour System) Distal Femur System is a modular titanium endoprosthetic system designed for the reconstruction of large bone defects of the distal femur, typically following tumour resection, severe trauma, revision arthroplasty, or failed previous prostheses.

The METS Distal Femur System has evolved from the experience of more than 1,500 custom-made distal femoral replacements and forms part of the broader METS range, which also covers the proximal femur, total femur, proximal tibia, proximal humerus, and pelvis.

The trial instrumentation set provides surgeons with a full complement of non-implantable trial components — anodised blue for clear intraoperative distinction — enabling accurate pre-implant sizing and assessment during surgery.
