The unit powers on and is in good overall cosmetic condition. A Hawksworth PAT test pass label is visible on the instrument and accessories. The system includes the integrated heated plate stacker module with temperature display and the dedicated Loader-PSU power supply unit (SN: CLD1197P).

The Solentim Cell Metric CLD is a high-resolution, high-contrast benchtop whole-well imaging system designed specifically for cell line development (CLD). It is the industry-accepted standard for providing unambiguous, image-based evidence of clonality for regulatory submissions including FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) applications. The CLD variant incorporates an integrated, temperature-controlled automated plate stacker, enabling batch processing of up to 10 lidded plates per run with automatic plate transfer and barcode reading.

The Cell Metric CLD uses non-invasive brightfield imaging to analyse settled suspension or adherent cells in situ. Proprietary laser focussing ensures optimal focal position in each and every well, maintaining image clarity right to the well edges. The system captures whole-well images at single-cell resolution, providing a permanent, time-stamped photographic record of cell growth from day 0 through to clonal outgrowth — all consolidated into a regulatory-compliant Clonality Report.

Used globally across the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotherapeutics companies, the Cell Metric CLD is designed to compress sub-cloning workflows, mini-pools, and repeated limited dilution rounds, saving time and resources. It is compatible with the Solentim VIPS system via Data Sync for enhanced laboratory workflows.
