The Fujikura FSM-70S is a professional-grade, core-to-core alignment single-fibre fusion splicer designed for high-efficiency splicing of SM, MM, DS, CS, NZDS and erbium-doped fibres.

It delivers a typical splice time of just 7 seconds and tube heating in as little as 13 seconds, making it well suited to field and van-based fibre installation and maintenance.

The FSM-70S features an automated programmable wind protector, clamshell tube heater and mirror-less optical system. It also incorporates a 4.7-inch TFT colour LCD monitor and a rugged chassis designed to withstand a 762 mm (30-inch) drop test.
