The Fujikura 90S+ is a single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer setting a new standard in the market for fusion splicing. Bristling with new and enhanced features specifically developed to help users work faster with higher precision, the 90S+ incorporates market-first fully automated technologies that make the splicing process faster and simpler.

Its Active Blade Management Technology (ABMT) improves the efficiency of the CT-50 cleaver, resulting in increased productivity and reduced costs. Thanks to Active Fusion Control Technology (AFCT), the 90S+ analyses the condition of the cleave end face to perform optimal fusion control and minimise splice loss.

Compared to the previous 70S+ model, the 90S+ delivers a measurable reduction in overall splice process time, achieved through improvements to the reaction time of the automated wind protectors and heater, new fibre retention clamps, and improved universal sheath clamps. A redesigned internal structure matches the protection sleeve to the fusion splice point, enabling successful splicing without the user needing to touch the unit once the process has started.
