This Fujikura 70S+ has an arc count of 5310 and was serviced by a Fujikura approved centre in June 2025. Tested and fully functional, it is in excellent cosmetic condition. The 70S+ is a significant upgrade over its 70S predecessor, featuring a 6-second SM splice time in Ultra Fast mode (previously 7 seconds), 7-second SM splice time in Fast mode (previously 12 seconds), and 10-second SM splice time in Auto mode (previously 15 seconds). Magnification is improved to 320x (single X or Y view) and 200x (simultaneous X and Y), up from 300x and 160x respectively. This is an EU licensed model.

The Fujikura 70S+ is the world's fastest and most robust core alignment fusion splicer. Incorporating the proven ruggedised features pioneered by Fujikura, the 70S+ adds automated and enhanced user control features to increase splicing efficiency. A user-programmable automated wind protector closes to initiate the splice process and opens upon completion. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps open one or both sheath clamps after the tensile test to prepare the fibre for removal. A new automated clamshell design tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice protection sleeve, resulting in a 13-second shrink time and a total splice process time of approximately 19–21 seconds. The mirrorless optical system and severe-impact resistant monitor greatly enhance ruggedness and durability. Battery capacity supports 200 splices/shrinks. An innovative transit case doubles as a built-in or mobile workstation. In an industry first, the 70S+ is equipped with Bluetooth technology, allowing the splicer to communicate with Bluetooth-enabled fibre preparation accessories.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
