Fujikura 70S+ Core Alignment Fusion Splicer

The Fujikura 70S+ is a single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer designed for high-volume splicing in demanding field and laboratory environments. Building on the proven 70S platform, it delivers exceptional splice performance across single-mode and multimode fibre types, making it ideal for telecoms infrastructure, FTTx deployments, data centres, and network maintenance.

The 70S+ achieves a splice time of just 7 seconds and a heat shrink time of 14 seconds, resulting in a total cycle time of approximately 21 seconds — one of the fastest in its class. A user-programmable automated wind protector closes automatically to initiate the splice and opens upon completion, streamlining workflow in field conditions. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps prepare the fibre for removal following the tensile test. The clamshell tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice protection sleeve for consistent and reliable shrink results.

The mirrorless optical system provides clear fibre imaging, and the impact-resistant colour monitor ensures visibility in varied lighting conditions. The 70S+ is engineered for durability and ease of use, with an ergonomic form factor suited to extended field deployment.
