Fujikura 70S+ Core Alignment Fusion Splicer

The Fujikura 70S+ is a single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer engineered for high-speed, high-precision splicing in both field and laboratory environments. Building on the acclaimed 70S platform, it delivers one of the fastest splice cycles in its class at approximately 7 seconds per splice, with a 14-second tube heater shrink time yielding a total cycle time of around 21 seconds.

The 70S+ features a user-programmable automated wind protector that closes automatically to initiate the splice and opens upon completion, significantly streamlining the workflow. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps prepare the fibre for removal following the tensile test. The clamshell tube heater applies heat from both sides of the splice protection sleeve for consistent, reliable protection.

The mirrorless optical system provides accurate fibre alignment imagery, while the impact-resistant monitor ensures reliability in challenging field conditions. Compatible with single-mode (SM) and multimode (MM) optical fibres, the 70S+ is widely used in telecommunications infrastructure, FTTx deployment, enterprise data networks, and cable TV installation.
