Fujikura 70S+ Core Alignment Fusion Splicer

The Fujikura 70S+ is a single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer designed for high-volume splicing in demanding field and laboratory environments. Building on the highly regarded 70S platform, it offers an optimised ergonomic design, increased durability, and an exceptionally fast splice cycle. The splicer achieves a 7-second splice time combined with a 14-second tube heater shrink time, yielding a total cycle time of approximately 21 seconds — one of the fastest in its class.

A user-programmable automated wind protector closes automatically to initiate the splice and opens on completion, streamlining workflow in field conditions. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps simplify fibre handling after the tensile test. The clamshell tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice protection sleeve simultaneously for consistent, reliable protection.

The mirrorless optical system provides clear, accurate fibre imaging, and the impact-resistant monitor is designed to withstand the rigours of field use. The 70S+ is compatible with single-mode (SM) and multimode (MM) fibres, making it highly versatile for FTTx, telecommunications, and data network applications.
