The Fujikura FSM-70S is a single-fibre core-alignment fusion splicer designed to be more ergonomic, faster, and more durable than its predecessor, the 60S series. It incorporates automated and enhanced user-control features to increase splicing efficiency in both field and laboratory environments.

Key features include a user-programmable automated wind protector that closes to initiate splicing and opens on completion, fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps, and an automated clamshell-design tube heater that heats both sides of the splice protection sleeve simultaneously. A mirrorless optical system and severe-impact-resistant monitor enhance ruggedness, while on-board training videos support field technicians. The unit is fully ruggedised for shock, dust, and moisture resistance and can withstand a 30-inch drop test.

Fujikura CT-30 High Precision Cleaver
The CT-30 is a high-precision fibre cleaver supporting single-fibre and ribbon cleaving (up to 12 fibres). It features a 16-position blade rated for up to 48,000 single-fibre cleaves (or 4,000 twelve-fibre ribbon cleaves) before replacement. A built-in scrap collector safely stores fibre shards.
