Fujikura 70S+ Core Alignment Fusion Splicer

The Fujikura 70S+ is an advanced single-fibre core alignment fusion splicer, building on the acclaimed 70S platform with enhanced performance and usability. Designed for high-volume splicing in demanding field and laboratory environments, it delivers fast splice cycles and consistently low-loss joints across single-mode and multimode fibre types.

The 70S+ features a user-programmable automated wind protector that closes automatically to initiate the splice and opens on completion, streamlining the splicing workflow. Fully programmable auto-open sheath clamps prepare the fibre for removal following the tensile test. The clamshell tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice protection sleeve, achieving a fast shrink time and a total cycle time of approximately 21 seconds.

The mirrorless optical system provides accurate core alignment, while the impact-resistant monitor ensures reliable operation in harsh outdoor conditions. The splicer is compatible with the CT-50 precision cleaver for a complete end-to-end splicing solution.
