The Fujikura 41S is a fully ruggedised, dual-camera, active cladding alignment fusion splicer designed for FTTx and field splicing applications. Core sensing loss estimation technology — enabled by Warm Splice Imaging (WSI) — provides the most accurate assessment of splice loss available in any active cladding alignment splicer. The 41S evaluates core alignment during the heating process itself, delivering splice loss estimates with greater accuracy than cladding-only methods.

Bluetooth connectivity with the Fujikura CT-50 fibre cleaver enables automated blade rotation when cleave quality degrades, reducing reburns and rework in the field. The dual-camera, active V-groove system ensures consistent performance in the most challenging field conditions, while the large 5-inch TFT colour touchscreen remains legible in bright outdoor environments.
