The Fujikura FSM-22S active cladding alignment fusion splicer bridges the long-standing gap between core alignment and fixed v-groove fusion splicer technology. Moveable v-grooves eliminate splicer errors caused by dust and other contaminants, delivering consistently low splice loss across single-mode and multi-mode fibres. Despite its incredibly small size, this ruggedised, full-featured unit offers unmatched versatility for splicing in the most challenging environments.

The innovative transit case and work tray provide multiple options for best utilisation of available workspace, while the long-life battery delivers power for up to 200 splice and sleeve cycles. Removable sheath clamps allow the use of fibre holders if desired. The FSM-22S is well suited to field installation, network maintenance, and laboratory splicing across telecoms, data centre, and FTTH applications.
