PerkinElmer's UV/Vis reference materials are precision standards designed to verify and validate the performance of UV/Vis and UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometers in laboratory, analytical and pharmaceutical quality control environments.

The B050-7805 Visible Spectrum Calibration Set provides a set of reference materials to verify ordinate (photometric) and abscissa (wavelength) accuracy across the UV and visible spectral regions. Four individually numbered glass filters are mounted in precision aluminium spring mounts and supplied in a robust aluminium container.

The B250-0100 Secondary Standard Set Pharmacopoeia is designed to verify spectrometer calibration in accordance with Pharmacopoeia monographs (DAB/USP). The set comprises six solutions in sealed cells — two reference and four test — covering photometric accuracy (potassium dichromate), wavelength accuracy (holmium perchlorate), stray light level (potassium chloride) and spectral resolution (toluene in hexane).

Both sets are designed for use with standard 10 mm cuvette holders and are compatible with most UV/Vis and UV/Vis/NIR spectrometers.
