The PCTEL SeeGull MX is a high-performance multi-band scanning receiver designed for professional cellular network drive testing, coverage measurement, and network optimisation. It features a modular RF front end and high-performance Signal Processing Engines that enable simultaneous acquisition, processing, and reporting of data from up to eight distinct RF operating bands with zero performance degradation when measuring up to three technologies concurrently.

The SeeGull MX is fully compliant with 3GPP and 3GPP2 specifications and supports GSM, WCDMA/HSPA, LTE FDD, and TD-LTE network technologies. It is controlled via a USB interface and is compatible with PCTEL's SeeHawk software as well as third-party drive test platforms including TEMS Investigation, Nemo, and Dingli.

Key features include a high-performance integrated GPS receiver, Layer 3 message decoding for GSM, WCDMA, and LTE, spectrum analyser capability, RSSI channel scanning, Enhanced Power Scan (EPS), and support for MIMO measurements. The unit supports field-upgradeable band and technology options, allowing expansion without returning the unit to the factory.
