The PCTEL SeeGull IBflex is a portable, software-defined scanning receiver designed for in-building and outdoor network testing. It combines portability and measurement accuracy with the ability to test multiple radio technologies and frequency bands simultaneously. The IBflex is used to deploy and verify 5G New Radio networks in sub-6 GHz spectrum, verify public safety network coverage, optimise dense small cell deployments, and improve the reliability of IoT systems. Its low power consumption and hot-swap battery system make it well suited to extended walk testing or interference hunting sessions. While its design is optimised for indoor walk tests, the IBflex is fully capable of outdoor and drive test applications without compromise to performance or accuracy.

The SeeGull IBflex is a software-defined receiver capable of supporting multiple protocols and any licensed cellular band. The 08900 hardware configuration supports frequencies from 10 MHz to 6 GHz (active frequency range subject to licensed options installed). Technologies can be measured simultaneously including LTE FDD, TD-LTE, NB-IoT, UMTS/WCDMA/HSPA(+), GSM, CDMA, EV-DO, TD-SCDMA, P25, DMR, TETRA, and Wi-Fi.
