The Power Inspired VFI1000T is part of the VFI-T Series — a range of online double conversion tower-format Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems spanning 1 to 10kVA. As a true double conversion online UPS, the VFI1000T provides continuous power protection with zero transfer time to battery, protecting connected equipment against the full spectrum of power problems including power failure, sags, surges, brownouts, line noise, high voltage spikes, frequency variations, switching transients and harmonic distortion.
The VFI1000T features an output power factor of 0.9, delivering 900W of real power. Output voltage is adjustable to 208V, 220V, 230V or 240V to suit the application, and the unit can operate in frequency converter mode at a fixed 50Hz or 60Hz output regardless of input frequency. Rear panel USB and RS232 serial communication ports are provided, along with an Intelligent Slot for an optional SNMP or Relay card. An Emergency Power Off (EPO) terminal is fitted, configurable for normally open or normally closed operation. The unit supports extended runtime via connection of up to four matching external battery modules — each with its own integrated charger so recharge time is unaffected. Load shedding via programmable outlet segments allows critical and non-critical loads to be managed intelligently during battery operation. Management software (UPSILON2000) is compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
