This Ocean Optics USB2000+ Miniature Fibre Optic Spectrometer has been tested and is fully functional. It covers a spectral range of 199–884nm and is fitted with a 600 lines/mm grating blazed at 300nm. Active options include DET2B-200-850 (order-sorting filter for the 200–850nm range), L2 (detector collection lens for improved low-light performance), and option 010.

The Ocean Optics USB2000+ Miniature Fibre Optic Spectrometer is a compact, USB-powered instrument combining a 2048-element linear silicon CCD-array detector with a 2 MHz analogue-to-digital converter, programmable electronics, and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface. It delivers fast, repeatable spectral acquisition and can capture a full 2048-pixel spectrum in as little as 1 millisecond. The optical bench uses a symmetrical crossed Czerny-Turner design with no moving parts, and wavelength calibration coefficients are stored in on-board EEPROM for plug-and-play hot-swap capability between computers. The spectrometer is controlled via OceanView software on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and can also communicate via RS-232.

The L2 Detector Collection Lens option focuses light from a tall entrance slit onto the shorter CCD detector elements, improving efficiency in low-light applications or when using large-diameter slits. The OFLV/DET2B-200-850 order-sorting filter suppresses second-order effects across the 200–850nm range.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
