This Nikon Eclipse Ts2 inverted microscope is in used, very good cosmetic condition and has been fully tested and confirmed working. It has also been PAT tested and passed.

The microscope is configured for phase contrast and brightfield observation using Nikon's CFI60 infinity-corrected optical system with a built-in high-intensity white LED diascopic illuminator. The side camera port is fitted with a Basler acA1300-200um monochrome USB 3.0 camera via a C-mount adapter; live imaging was verified using Basler pylon Viewer software at 1280 × 1024 resolution and 169 fps.

The compact, streamlined body is vibration-resistant for highly stable sample observations and is sized to fit inside standard tissue culture hoods. The side-positioned camera port provides unimpeded viewing of the stage even when placed in a hood, and accepts cameras via C- or F-mount adapters. Observation methods include brightfield, phase contrast, and Emboss Contrast — a cost-effective technique that produces pseudo-three-dimensional, glare-free images of thick specimens such as iPS cells without requiring specialised objectives.
