The Narda Nardalert XT D8860 is a used personal RF monitor configured to ICNIRP 1998 Occupational limits, covering 100 kHz to 100 GHz. As part of the full-featured 8860 Series, it includes continuous data logging capability and user-adjustable alarm thresholds. Supplied as pictured.
Typically supplied with:
• Pocket clip
• Belt clip
• Plastic storage box
• Battery
• Operating manual
The Narda Nardalert XT D8860 is a body-worn personal RF safety monitor from Narda Safety Test Solutions, calibrated to ICNIRP 1998 Occupational limits. It belongs to the full-featured 8860 Series of the Nardalert XT family, designed to satisfy the safety monitoring requirements of RF workers across telecommunications, broadcasting, military, and utility sectors.
The patented tri-sensor design covers the RF spectrum from 100 kHz to 100 GHz using three complementary detection technologies: a low-band, low-impedance surface-area sensor for low-frequency fields; a mid-band diode-dipole sensor for UHF signals; and a high-band thermocouple array for microwave frequencies. This combination detects all polarisations and signal formats including complex multi-signal and radar environments.
The 8860 Series includes continuous data logging that is always active, recording more than 30,000 data points. At the default logging rate of one measurement every five seconds, over 40 hours of exposure history is retained before the oldest data is overwritten. Logged data can be downloaded via the optional Interface Kit and analysed using the included User's Software.
Two independently adjustable audio alarms allow one threshold to be set at an occupational or controlled limit and a second at a lower action or general population level. An internal vibrator alarm and five high-intensity LED level indicators (visible in direct sunlight) provide additional notification modes. Seven operating parameters can be customised via the optional Interface Kit.
