The Micronic Rack Reader DR505 is a compact benchtop solution designed to read whole racks filled with 2D Data-Matrix coded tubes quickly, cost-effectively, and with a minimal laboratory footprint. Built for high-throughput and automated systems, it enables reliable integration with laboratory sample organisation and LIMS systems.

The DR505 features a passive anti-frost system that minimises condensation on the scanner plate when reading racks of frozen samples directly from the freezer, preserving sample integrity and improving productivity. It is compatible with most brands of 2D Data-Matrix coded tubes and supports 96-, 48-, and 24-well format racks.

With the optional Side Barcode Reader (MP35240) mounted on the side, the Micronic Code Reader Software can simultaneously read both the 1D rack barcode and 2D Data-Matrix tube codes in a single scan. The software supports CSV data export and LIMS integration, and includes an automatic re-read function to ensure all codes are captured without manual intervention.

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
