The Megger TDR2000/3 is a state-of-the-art, dual-channel, high-resolution, compact Time Domain Reflectometer with a colour screen, designed for the location of faults in communication and pilot cables and some power supplies.

Built tough and rated CAT IV to 150 V, the TDR2000/3 is dust and weatherproof to IP54, making it ideal for field use. The large backlit WVGA colour display (800 x 480 px) provides clear trace visualisation under all lighting conditions. AUTO set-up mode selects the most effective parameters instantly, while the built-in Xpert mode automatically adjusts range and gain and positions the cursor to the first major fault event — press again to jump to the next disturbance. Dual trace and dual cursor capabilities give the operator full control with instant distance-between-points readout. Up to 100 test results can be stored on the instrument and downloaded to a PC via USB using the included TraceXpert software. A Crosstalk (Xtalk) mode enables fault location on coupled cable pairs using the dual channel inputs.
