The Megger MIT420/2 (order code 1004-739) is a CAT IV 600 V rated insulation resistance and continuity tester from the MIT400/2 series, designed for a wide range of applications including electrical installations, cable testing, motor testing, automotive, ESD, panel building, avionics, and maintenance. It builds on the MIT410/2 with the addition of variable test voltage, result storage and recall, and capacitance measurement.
Insulation test voltages: 50 V, 100 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V
Variable test voltage range: 10 V to 1000 V in 1 V steps
Insulation measurement range: Up to 200 GΩ
Continuity range: 0.01 Ω to 1.0 MΩ (auto-ranging)
Continuity test current: 200 mA or 20 mA (selectable)
Capacitance measurement: 0.1 nF to 10 µF
Result storage: Up to 1000 test results
Diagnostic functions: Polarisation Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR)
