The Megger DET4TC2 is a dry-cell battery-powered four-terminal earth/ground resistance and soil resistivity tester from Megger's DET4 series, designed for demanding applications requiring maximum versatility. It supports 2, 3, and 4-pole testing, Attached Rod Technique (ART), stakeless (clamp-on) measurements, leakage current measurement, and earth noise voltage measurement.

The DET4TC2 is powered by eight AA batteries with battery status shown via a bar-graph on the LCD display. The instrument features a selectable test frequency (94 Hz, 105 Hz, 111 Hz, and 128 Hz) to minimise the effects of interference in difficult conditions, and a selectable 25 V or 50 V output voltage for compliance with IEC 61557-5 (25 V output required for agricultural environment testing). A backlit display extends operational use to cable cellars and other dark locations. The large rotary selector switch and single-button test operation allow use even with gloved hands. The instrument automatically checks connection conditions of the P spike and C spike and rejects noise voltages exceeding 40 V peak-to-peak.

By using the optional ICLAMP accessory, the DET4TC2 can perform ART testing, allowing individual ground electrodes to be tested without disconnecting the utility connection. The optional VCLAMP enables true stakeless (clamp-on) measurements where driving stakes is impractical.

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is 'not as specified', you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, the email should accompany the order number, date and reason for return and must be within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than 'not as specified'.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
• Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the item is 'not as specified', in this case we will arrange for the return by way of a prepaid shipping label.
