The Life Technologies (Invitrogen / Thermo Fisher Scientific) Countess II FL Automated Cell Counter (Cat. No. AMQAF1000) is a fully automated, 3-channel cell counter and assay platform that uses EVOS light cube technology to analyze fluorescently labeled cells or trypan blue stained samples in suspension. It is a benchtop instrument equipped with state-of-the-art optics, full autofocus, and image analysis software for rapid assessment of cells in suspension. The Countess II FL accepts up to two user-swappable EVOS LED light cubes, selected from a range of over 20 fluorescence channels, enabling applications including cell counting, fluorescent protein expression monitoring, apoptosis evaluation, cell viability, and cell cycle assays. The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen provides an intuitive user interface requiring minimal training. Data and images can be exported via USB port.
