The Kikusui PCR4000MA is a compact, single-phase switching AC power supply employing the PWM inverter method, forming part of the PCR-MA Series. It is designed to combine the simplicity of a variable auto-transformer or automatic voltage regulator (AVR) with the versatility of a fully programmable, multifunctional AC power source.

The PCR4000MA delivers a wide-range, programmable output voltage of up to 310 Vrms AC across a frequency range of 40 Hz to 500 Hz, making it ideal for testing equipment destined for global markets — including 120 V/60 Hz (Americas), 230 V/50 Hz (Europe), and 115 V/400 Hz (aviation and military). DC output is also supported, and DC voltage can be superimposed on the AC output in AC+DC mode, enabling comprehensive power source variation and ride-through testing.

Key capabilities include:
• Maximum peak current of three times the rated RMS value, accommodating capacitor-input rectifying loads
• Remote sensing to compensate for voltage drops in load cables
• Memory function storing up to 3 panel presets (up to 11 via software), recallable with the output active for step-change testing
• Built-in measurement of voltage, current, and power for both AC and DC outputs; apparent power, reactive power, power factor, crest factor, and current peak hold available via software
• LAN (LXI-compliant) and USB interfaces standard, with an embedded web browser interface for remote monitoring and control

Returns Policy

• Return Period: In the event of an item being received which is not as specified, you can return your purchase within 14 days of delivery.
• Condition of Items: Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
• Return Method: All returns must be notified in writing to hello@ttinstruments.com, and the email should include the order number, date and reason for return within 14 days of delivery.
• Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of up-to 20% is applicable for items returned for any reason other than not as specified.
• Refund Method: Refunds are processed to the original method of payment within 5 business days of receiving the return.
• Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. It will either be a replacement or a refund.
